COURSE OVERVIEW                                                               Earn 35 PDUs

The PMP® designation is recognized worldwide as the standard of the profession, attesting to one's core knowledge and understanding of critical Project Management concepts, principles and techniques. Certification sets Project Management Professionals (PMP®'s) shows that you have mastered essential project management skills and knowledge. To pass the PMP examination, out of the 200 questions, candidates must correctly answer a minimum of 106 questions (Excluding 25 Questions). Which means the minimum percentage score to be obtained should be 61%.

This comprehensive five days PMP EXAM PREP course will prepare you to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP®) examination. The course is kept up to date with the framework of knowledge outlined by the Project Management Institute's PMBOK® Guide Fourth Edition. Test-taking tips and exam strategies as well plenty of review materials will be submitted in this course to assist with passing the PMP® exam. In addition, the course includes comprehensive number of examples, and sample examination questions and answers in order to improve your chances of passing the PMP® certification exam on the first attempt using well-proven and successful course delivery method.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Prepare to take the PMP® exam and learn how to pass it on the first attempt

Day 1 - Introduction, PMP logistics, Integration Management

  • Get to know classmates (company, industry, background)
  • PMI and PMP certification process
  • Project management context, lifecycles, nine knowledge areas and five processes
  • Balancing the triple constraint of a project; serving the stakeholders, Project Managers skills
  • Inputs-processes-outputs of Integration Management, Project Plan development and overall
  • change control

Day 2 - Project Scope Management; Project Time Management

  • Using tools such as the Project Charter, Scope Statement, Work Breakdown Structure
  • (WBS), Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM)
  • Change Control Management, changing the project plan, closeout of scope
  • Activity Sequencing, dependencies, network diagrams, estimating
  • Resource assignment, schedule development, resource loading and levelling
  • Critical Path Method (CPM), critical chain overview, schedule optimizing and control

Day 3 - Cost Management; Quality Management, Human Resource Management

  • Cost management plan; budgeting
  • Earned Value Management and cost control
  • Quality planning, assurance, control
  • Organizational planning, functional, matrix, project management
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Staff acquisition activities, Team development

Day 4 - Communication, Risk, Procurement

  • Communications planning, information distribution, performance measurement,
  • administrative closure
  • Effective reports and meetings
  • Risk management planning
  • Risk identification, qualitative and quantitative analysis, response and control
  • Procurement Planning Process, solicitation, proposal evaluation and selection
  • Contracting, contract types, project management of a contracted project, contract closeout

Day 5 - Professional Responsibility

  • Legal, ethical, and professional behavior
  • Code of conduct, cultural issues of international projects
  • The PMP® Certification process
  • Test taking techniques
  • Mock Examination
  • Questions & answers
